My RG
I bought this RG in June, 2002, from a guy in Wales. It was fairly original with a couple of replacement fairings, and a new rear shock, and went OK so I bought it.
Since then, I have noticed that it leaks petrol, if left turned on. I understand that this is quite common with these bikes, but I changed the needle valves on the front two carbs, and reset the float levels, and it seems much better - the garage no longer smells of petrol :-)
It has been Stan Stephen's tuned to stage 3 according to the receipt. When I took the carbs off I noticed the gasket had not been cut to the shape of the inlet port, so I trimmed it back with a scalpel.
